As a new way to market up and coming bands, I came up with the idea to choose one lyric of a song and get the artist to describe where this specific lyric came from.

With social media marketing on the rise and access to interviews with musicians, fans really enjoy 'getting to know' their idols. The bridge between an artist and their fan base is shrinking, since social media allows direct communication between the two. 

I wanted to tap into this new wave of musician marketing run by social media and create a short video of an artist describing his thought process behind writing a lyric to a song. That way, an audience will be able to see his personality as well as his work.
